If that does not help, then moving to XPMSE and required mods may be the only option to fix the problem correctly. You may want to try my instructions again, because the problem in your game looks more extreme than with most others. That would mean adding few mods to your game. After doing a quick search in web, it does seem that this is a common problem, solved by fixes added to custom skeleton. Now I do have a female character and my modded game does not have this problem. The problem is not as big in my than in your end, so I never payed too much atention to it. It seems that my vanilla female character had her hands slightly off as well. I did a quick game test, one with vanilla and other modded. Steam uses that folder to check your files, but the data in it is often out of date. The idea there was that Steam would check the integrity of your game files, without possibly messed up data in appcache folder. It would be nice if other players confirm for the bowstring. I didn't do exactly as you wrote, but i think it's the same way, i reinstalled properly Steam, did a copy & paste of the Skyrim folder in the Steam folder, checked the game cache, and erased the Skyrim folder in the documents (i kept my save game ^^).īut the problem is always here, i think it's the same issue for all players, maybe a new bug introduces with the latest updates, like the lip sync for example :
